In 1984 I joined The Secret Service Band consisting of Jimmy McNichol (Kristy McNichol's brother) on vocals, Roger Rogerson (Circle Jerks) on guitar, actor Mark McClure (Jimmy Olson from the Superman movies) on drums (later Mark Droubay on drums), Michael Rummans on Bass (later Rick Bozzo on bass). Jimmy played a character on the soap General Hospital and our band appeared on the show.   We were awarded a plaque by the California organisation of Police and Sheriffs for playing a benefit for police officers who lost their lives or were injured in the line of duty. We also played for the U.S.Department of Secret Service for their events and parties. All of us were given a honorary Secret Service hat.

I worked with Jimmy on and off for about 5 years.
